Tuesday Tips: The Questions That Build Reflection
Yesterday, we explored how metacognition—the ability to think about your thinking—is the bridge between what we know and what we can actually do with it.
Today, we’re building on that bridge with a simple but powerful idea:
Ask the right questions… at the right time.
Because reflection doesn’t just happen after a task is finished.
In fact, when we only teach reflection after the fact, we miss the moments when it can actually change behavior in real time. And that puts a huge demand on memory and recall in the next time, versus teaching the lesson during each task.
